David T. Kulesz, partner in the law firm of Landrith &
Kulesz, L.L.P.,born in Fort Worth, Texas, on August 29, 1955,
was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1979. He was educated at
Baylor University (B.B.A., 1977 and J.D., 1979. He was a
Member of the Baylor Law Review and served as Business
Manager. Mr. Kulesz is a member of Phi Delta Phi, the
Arlington and Tarrant County Bar Associations, Tarrant County
Probate Bar and Tarrant County Family Law Bar
Associations, as well as the State Bar of Texas, He has been
Board Certified in Family Law since 1990 and additional areas
of practice include probate, guardianship, civil litigation
and business law.
David has been married for 34 years
to Peggy Pritchard Kulesz who is an English lecturer at the
University of Texas at Arlington. They are the parents of two
grown, married children, Zackary Kulesz of Arlington and
Katie Humphreys of Fort Worth. David and Peggy live in
Dalworthington Gardens. David also serves part-time as a municipal
judge in Dalworthington Gardens and Pantego. David has become known
for his obsession with Christmas lights where he regularly
decorates the outside of his house and property with over 300,000
lights. He has been regularly featured in newspapers and on
television with the light display which is a tribute to those
persons and families afflicted with and affected by Alzheimer's
disease. David served for over a decade on the Board of Directors
of Alzheimer's Association-North Central Texas Chapter and is a
Past President. David has been a member for over 30 years at First
Baptist Church of Arlington and has served in various capacities
including teacher, department director, finance chairman, and on
various committees.
Beginning with Castleberry High School where he was elected
President of the Student Council, he has been involved in numerous
organizations and causes including Circle K and Alpha Tau Omega at
Baylor. He is a lifetime member of the Baylor Alumni Association
and the Baylor Law Alumni Association and a Baylor Law Counselor.
Since coming to Arlington in 1979, he has been a President of the
Arlington Baylor Club and served as a founding member of the Board
of Directors of the Arlington Women's Shelter. He also enjoys
tennis. In connection with the practice of law David has been a
past Treasure of the Arlington Bar Association and on the Board of
Directors of the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association. He is
also a fellow in the Texas Bar Foundation and a member of
Collaborative Lawyers of Arlington and Mansfield.
